I can no longer remember where
This all started,
I met an alien today,
Insect-organic, viscous-metallic,
When I was an ordinary person I did extraordinary things
And could not understand why I had done them.
On my bike, cycle-wheeling, feeling like a bird,
Swooping and triumphant, heard,
Stone prayers,
Echoes of a thousand years,
Iām no red green, stop go lizard.
But a chameleon in hue.
When he was sequential,
And she was tangential,
Still no word - no beginning,
No tendril of connection
Star light long scattered.
The ancient story.
